STRAUSS' NEW LIFE OF JESUS by David Friderich Strauss.  Authorized Translation in two volumes, 2nd Edition, published by Williams and Norgate , 1879.  Both hardcovers in reasonably good condition, though Volume One requires re-binding, Volume Two is tightly bound.  A stamp showing "Shakespear and Company, Kilometer Zero Paris" appears on the inside front cover in both volumes.   Sandy stains are shown on inside covers and the last few pages.  All the contents (439 pages in Vol. 1, 440 pages inVol.2) are complete with no markings or foldings.
